Khikmat Kh. Muminov

   Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Division of Physical-Mathematical, Chemical, Geological and Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Sciences, Professor.

   The main areas of research: Theoretical Physics, Field Theory, Condensed Matter Physics, Nonlinear Mathematical Physics, Nanomaterials.

    He graduated from the Lenin Tajik State University in the specialty “Physics” (1988), Doctor of Phys.-Math.  Sciences (1996), academician (2017, corresponding member since 2004, specialty "Physics").

    He completed PhD (1988-1992) and DSc (1993-1996) of the Tajik State University at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russian Federation).

   Leading Researcher of the Bogolyubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia, 1996-1999).

   Visiting Professor at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary, 2002).

   Fulbright Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, USA, 2005).

   Professor at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Tajik National University (1999-2006), Director of the Physical Technical Institute named after S.U.Umarov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (2006-2017), Head of the Department of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies of the Physical Technical Institute named after S.U. Umarov (2008 - present).

   Author of 6 monographs, more than 300 articles, 7 patents for inventions.

   Awards: Ismail Samani Government Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan for achievements in the field of science and technology (1998); Medal “20th Anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan” (2012); Excellence in Education of the Republic of Tajikistan (2015).
