Horizon 2020. Information Day in Tajikistan
Information day on new Framework Programme of the European Union on research and innovation - Horizon 2020 took place in Tajikistan, Dushanbe on February 24, 2014 at the Conference Hall of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (ASRT).
The Infoday was conducted by academician Mamadsho Ilolov, Director of Center for Innovative Development of Science and new technologies (CIDS&NT) of ASRT, Dr. Bela Kardon, Head of Department of scientific policy of the Ministry of Human Resources, Hungary and Dr. Kamila Magzieva, National coordinator of European Union Framework Programme - Horizon 2020, Kazakhstan.
There were a number of presentations made by: academician Mamadsho Ilolov on “Research and Innovation in Tajikistan”; Dr. Bela Kardon on “Horizon 2020: new rules of participation and financial aspects”; “Hungarian lessons: Experience of European cooperation of new member state from practical point of view”; “Maria Skłodowska - Curie Actions”; Dr. Kamila Magzieva on “General Presentation of Programmme, Horizon 2020”; “International cooperation in Horizon 2020”; “From idea to project”; “Horizon 2020: information mechanisms, resources and Portal of participant”.
There were also presentations on 3 SC “Horizon 2020: Work Programme 2014 – 2020” made by Dr. Kabutov K., Head of Laboratory of the Umarov S.U. Physical-Technical Institute of ASRT “Safe, clean and efficient energy”; Prof. Nasyrova F.Y., Head of Laboratory of the Institute of botany, physiology and genetics of plants of ASRT “Health, demographic changes and welfare” and Prof Kobuliev Z.V. Director of Institute of water issues, hydropower and ecology of ASRT “Climate, ecology, efficient resources and raw materials”.
In the end of the Information Day the participants actively discussed on the important points of the Programme. The questions were answered by acad. Mamadsho Ilolov, Dr. Kamila Magzieva and Dr. Bela Kardon.
In the work of the Infoday took place more than 150 representatives of Parliament members, various educational and research institutions, research workers of ministries, agencies and mass media.
